LOVE I CHING? Keep this blog alive!
I had been wondering whether to put my I Ching stories on this blog. On August 29, I consulted I Ching and received:
HEXAGRAM 48. THE WELL, Line 6.
THE JUDGMENT
THE WELL. The town may be changed,
but the well cannot be changed.
It neither decreases nor increases.
They come and go and draw from the well.
If one gets down almost to the water
And the rope does not go all the way,
Or the jug breaks, it brings misfortune.
Six at the top means:
One draws from the well
Without hindrance.
It is dependable.
Supreme good fortune.
The well is there for all. No one is forbidden to take water from it. No matter how many come, all find what they need, for the well is dependable. It has a spring and never runs dry. Therefore it is a great blessing to the whole land. The same is true of the really great man, whose inner wealth is inexhaustible; the more that people draw from him, the greater his wealth becomes.
I was particularly interested in this
reading, because the I Ching is traditionally represented as a well. The
book being the vessel and the water the truth it contains. I published
my first story on the 29th of August. As you can see, it has risen from
almost nothing to nearly 3,000 hits this month. The
traditional text and commentary certainly seem accurate here, but this
is an ongoing prediction that will be updated each month.
Thanks you to everyone who viewed. Please share, follow, and comment. Without engagement this blog will not be viable. An even bigger help would be to make a prediction with me and have your story on this blog and in the Great I Ching Database I am building.
This post will be updated.
A
big thank you to everyone who has clicked on this blog, and I hope you
